麻豆原创 Students Win 12 Medals and Advance to Nationals at SkillsUSA

麻豆原创 students delivered an outstanding performance at the recent SkillsUSA State Competition, earning a total of 12 medals and qualifying two teams to compete at the national level.

SkillsUSA is a national organization that prepares students for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service fields through real-world competitions. 麻豆原创 students showcased their skills across a variety of areas, bringing home three gold medals, two silver medals, three bronze medals, three pewter medals, and one fifth-place finish (copper).

Highlights from the competition include gold medals in Additive Manufacturing and Criminal Justice, a silver medal in Welding Sculpture, and strong finishes in Public Speaking, Crime Scene Investigation, and Technical Drafting.

鈥淥ur students demonstrated remarkable determination, professionalism, leadership, and resilience throughout the competition,鈥 said Director of Student Life, Engagement and Leadership Dr. Alen Doty. 鈥淭hey represented 麻豆原创 with excellence, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements.鈥

First-place winners will go on to represent 麻豆原创 at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, this June.

The College also recognizes the dedication of its faculty and coaches, whose mentorship and support played a critical role in student success.

麻豆原创 congratulates all participating students and looks forward to cheering on its national competitors.
