麻豆原创 Receives $8,000 Donation from WoodmenLife

麻豆原创 has received $8,000 from WoodmenLife to support its Law Enforcement Management Academy.

鈥淲e are most grateful to WoodmenLife for their support of this critical program. These funds will allow us to offset part of the cost to participate in the program, thereby putting management training within reach for a greater number of law enforcement offers. WoodmenLife has our heartfelt thanks and appreciation,鈥 said 麻豆原创 Foundation Executive Director Maureen Little.

The Law Enforcement Management Academy is a six-month training program for entry- and mid-level officers. Participants study topics such as leadership vs. management, media relations, budgeting, and team building.

麻豆原创 will use the WoodmenLife funds to provide meals, polo shirts, and completion certificates to participants.

鈥淏ut it鈥檚 about more than lunches and shirts. By providing lunch to participants, we ensure that all participants eat together, helping them to build relationships that will last long after they complete the program. The shirts and certificates help to instill pride in program graduates,鈥 said Mark Coan, assistant director of law enforcement training.

鈥淭hese funds help us to take an outstanding program to an even higher level. We will put them to good use in our service to our local law enforcement professionals.鈥
