�鶹ԭ�� recently celebrated the 51^st graduating class of its  Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program. The graduates were recognized during a ceremony on Dec. 4 at the Old Charlotte Highway campus. 

In addition to completing the BLET program, the graduates carry the distinguishment of achieving a 100-percent pass rate on the state law enforcement licensing exam. 

“This 100-percent pass rate reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, as well as the commitment of our instructional staff to prepare them for the realities of law enforcement,” said Director of Law Enforcement Training Mike Smith. 

“We are proud of each graduate and the professionalism they bring to their agencies and communities.”

Each of the BLET graduates is already employed by a local law enforcement agency. The graduates and their agencies include: 

• Olga Senaira Acosta-Turcios – Monroe Police Department
• Kareem Rahman Abdul Aleem – Piedmont Company Police
• Riley Morgan Boone – Matthews Police Department
• Samantha Rose Brakefield – North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation
• Marissa Nicole Clontz – Monroe Police Department
• Carlos A. Garcia – Union County Sheriff’s Office
• Jawan Taari Jones – Wadesboro Police Department
• Saif Zakariyya Joyner – Cornelius Police Department
• William James Keelan – Union County Sheriff’s Office
• Cameron Minter – Mint Hill Police Department
• Jeremy Demond Smith – Union County Sheriff’s Office
• Charles Cody Virden – Pineville Police Department
